Frantix (Chris Liengaard) has been clowning around professionally for the over thirty years, offering circus and clown entertainment for all ages throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. Frantix is also named ‘Circus Frantix’ when performing as a duo or more (both with family members and circus performers). Chris Liengaard is the founder of the business ‘Frantix’ and works as a clown, circus artist, director, workshop leader, -as well as games master and more .
HISTORY:
Frantix (Chris Liengaard) started clowning around in 1980. This is something that developed from a combination of education and experience, which included drama and theatre training in Denmark.
He built his first stilts at school and bought a unicycle and juggling equipment at the age of 15. Frantix trained at Fooltime Circus School in Bristol (now called Circomedia). At a young age he performed street shows throughout Europe.
He also managed ‘Bogit and Skarper’, performed with ‘Circus Zincali’, ‘Nofit State Circus’ and ‘March Hare’.
